Snugpak is based on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, England. They are very proud to be one of the last manufacturers of quality mummy sleeping bags within Europe. A Snugpak sleeping bag uses superfine yarns bound with special resins to produce a luxurious down like feel. The yarns used are staple yarns as they are natural insulators (as opposed to continuously extruded as in most synthetic fills) and a mixture of different yarn processes are applied to give a more random effect. The random nature of the process results in mummy sleeping bags that closely resembles the structure of the natural down and the way it performs. Given all this technology these bags are still easy to care for, washable, yet still retaining a lot of its thermal properties when wet.  All fabrics are treated with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish. Water repellency can be maintained by a cool tumble dry after washing.
